Samvriti…



In Sanskrit means “Origin of illusion” or “False truth” essentially what is visually seen and perceived may not be actual reality but interpretation of perceiver. Hence art is an expression as perceived by artist, which may in reality would be different than that of viewer or actual reality.

Manas Ranjan Mishra in Samvriti 2010

Manas Ranjan Mishra

His art work expresses some inherent capabilities of human being which could not be physically explored. He loves to play with colors, forms and expressions. For him simplicity is the beauty. His paintings speak about the repetitions of few elements representing the anxiety and worries storming inside someone's mind. You can find the cocoon of feelings when people have to choose one between two dearest one, and they know they are loosing the other person for ever.

Manas Mishra is an Industrial Designer and at present he is practicing design in Bangalore. He is basically from Orissa and an alumnus of IIT Delhi where he did his Master of Design (Industrial Design) and he holds B. E. in Electrical Engineering.

As a researcher he has guided more than 100 design projects as per academia. Design few successful products which are still floating in market. He had also done plays in theaters in Delhi. His area of research spreads in Interaction Design, Usability, Emotional Design, and Product Design for Below Poverty Line, Ergonomics and much more interdisciplinary area.

Prakash V Unakal

His art work expresses visual richness through composition of line, form, color and meaning with touch of simplicity and freshness. His sense of aesthetics emerges from his exploration art and design. His painting titled "My Point” - emotes our lives are centered on multiple points and each point fills life in our living through vivid colors of experience to make our existence delightful.


Prakash V Unakal is Industrial Designer and practicing design in Bangalore. He is alumni of Industrial Design Center, IIT Mumbai where he did his Master of Design (Industrial Design) and he holds B Tech in Mechanical Engineering. He has over 100 consumer products design to his credit. He has published poem in Library of Congress, USA.


His is also a researcher area Design/Innovation/Creativity/ Consumer behavior/Design thinking/Social Design/Design for Society/Grassroots Innovation/Art/Design thinking and Interdisciplinary areas. He has rich experience in area of Product Design, Development, Management and Education in India over 17 yrs and in US for 2 yrs. He is currently holding President Post of Designer's Guild of India.

Babu Jattakar



Born on 20th June 1965 at Jamakhandi [Karnataka]. He has completed BFA (1989) & MFA (1992) from college of fine arts, Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore. His solo show “Silent Symphony” was an exhibition of recent drawings made in June 2008 at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore. His dual Show was an exhibition of drawings & paintings at State Gallery of Fine Art (Indian Art Gallery) Hyderabad (AP) in 2008.
